CHALLENGE
An established Shah Alam manufacturer producing industrial components wanted to enter Thai and Indonesian markets but had no clear picture of regulatory requirements or how to identify distribution partners.
APPROACH
Eight-week cross-border trade advisory engagement. Regulatory mapping for both markets, three risk consideration sessions with leadership, and a structured partner identification framework tailored to the company's product type.
OUTCOME
Client received a written report with market-specific observations and a shortlist of evaluated distributor criteria. Decision to proceed with Thailand in phase one, defer Indonesia. Re-engaged six months later for implementation advisory.
